Heritage Underwriting Agency has terminated discussions with potential suitors to acquire the company.
The company had formed an independent committee of its board to lead the discussions.
The committee did not consider that any of the proposals received reflected the value of the business to all its shareholders.
The share transfer market, managed by Credit Agricole will reopen today.
