Heritage Underwriting has announced that it has been awarded the contract to manage Curepool, the Aviva Group's reinsurance captive, from its offices on Guernsey.
Len Alliston, head of captive management, Aviva General Insurance, said: "We wished to bring the management of Curepool closer to the UK and were delighted to find on Guernsey an underwriting manager, independent of any other broker or insurer, with the key systems capabilities and expertise we need."
