There is some good news on the horizon for brokers being put on hold by insurance companies.
Minister for Small Firms Patricia Hewitt has said that small firms will in future be able to hold on to their existing phone numbers if they change telecoms company. That should make the search for cheaper phone costs a little easier. "This is excellent news for businesses which wish to change their telephone line supplier but want to keep their existing telephone number," she said.
