Motor insurer Highway has increased the facilities available to brokers using Insurecom by both launching a full cycle EDI commercial vehicle product and adding an electronic renewal function to its existing private car product.
Highway Choice Commercial Vehicle covers commercial vans up to 7.5t including tipping and refrigerated vehicles. The product also covers drivers aged from 19 to 65, company rated risk and any driver cover.
An EDI renewal function is also now available for Highway Choice Private Car via Insurecom to reduce time and administrative burden for both brokers and the insurer.
Michael Lawrence, Highway's sales & marketing director, said: “We believe that EDI is key to profitably underwriting motor risks, both for commercial and private vehicles.
Highway is further prepared to back this belief by giving our brokers a 5% discount for commercial vehicle business which is transacted electronically.”
