Hiscox has acquired Insurex Expo-Sure from Alexander Forbes for an undisclosed amount.
Insurex provides conference, events and exhibition insurance to more than 2,000 clients.
Hiscox said it had a long-standing relationship with the Kent-based company on event cancellation business.
Following the acquisition, Hiscox wantst Insurex to remain a distinct brand. It said it would “gradually integrate” its operational activities into the Hiscox business structure to create improved systems and cost savings.
