Hiscox has opened a new branch in Colchester.
It said the office would deal with specialty commercial and private client business from brokers across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, East Anglia and North Kent.
The branch is headed up by Ross Dingwall, who formerly managed Hiscox's art & private client division in Scotland and Ireland.
The Colchester business centre is Hiscox's largest operation outside London and is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years.
