Hiscox has sponsored John Virtue's latest exhibition of London paintings at the National Gallery from 9 March to 5 June.
John Virtue: London Paintings, includes eleven works all dominated by the River Thames, representing the London cityscape looking down-river towards St Paul's Cathedral.
The paintings are executed solely in black and white on a scale never before attempted by any other visual artist, the largest of which is over seven metres wide.
