Result was 31.7%, above expected top figure of 30%

Hiscox has announced that the 2007 result for the £874m capacity syndicate 33 was 31.7%, up from the 22.5% to 30.0% estimated. Hiscox has 73% of the syndicate.

Hiscox also announced it was raising expected result for 2008 to 2.5% to 10% and said the same was expected for 2009. The capacity in each year is £700m and £750m

Hiscox also said syndicate 6104’s 2008 expectation was 25.0% to 32.5% with a capacity of £34m. For 2009 it was 35.0% to 50.0%, with a capacity of £43m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
