HSBC Insurance Brokers has launched a product offering an outlet for brokers without an existing motorcycle facility.
HSBC claims that the product, called Spectrum Rider, offers competitive schemes for a range of bikes from performance to super bikes.
HSBC Insurance Brokers' and marketing director Richard Harrison said: "We expect motorcycle sales to boom in 2003, aided by the introduction of the London congestion charge. Spectrum Rider will significantly improve the broker's chances of succeeding in an increasingly attractive but elusive market.
"The motorcycle market requires specialist knowledge. And, even if the broker has facilities, it can be very difficult to write business successfully. Spectrum Rider has been developed to overcome these obstacles."
