A modified version of guidance has been published by the Health and Satefy Executive (HSE) to help employers who supply and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
The original guidance, first published in 1992, has been updated to reflect changes to the Work Regulations, developments in PPE and to clarify guidance queries commonly received by the HSE.
The HSE has also reissued a free leaflet aimed at informing employers of the main legal requirements, A Short Guide to the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations.
