Four people dead in Cuba as hurricane continues its path
Hurricane Ike has claimed the lives of four people in Cuba according to reports this morning.
The death toll is now thought to stand above 80 in the Carribean.
Almost 1.25m residents are said to have been moved to shelters, more than one tenth of the country's population.
Sixteen buildings are believed to be damaged in the capital, Havana, although the damage is not thought to be as extensive as other parts of the island.
Ike is now believed to be headed for Texas, western Louisiana or Mexico.
