Lloyd's managing agency Illium Insurance is backing the bid by Roz Savage to become the first woman to compete in the Atlantic Rowing Race.
Illium is donating the insurance cover for the critical Royal Navy underwater escape training, which Savage undertakes prior to her 3,000-mile transatlantic crossing from the Canaries to Antigua, which starts on November 27.
Her solo voyage is set to raise a minimum £30,000 for the Prince's Trust.
