Imagine Insurance, a specialty insurer and reinsurer, has announced plans to acquire Abacus Syndicates and Abacus Underwriting Agency, both of London.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Barbados-based Imagine Insurance will support the two Abacus-managed Lloyd's of London syndicates for 2006. Lloyd's Syndicate 2525 underwrites non-marine liability, while Syndicate 2526 underwrites UK professional indemnity.
