Software house Dial Direct deal
Software house CSC has won a deal to supply a 200+ user system to call centre operation, Dial Direct. Dial Direct, which is part of Coventry intermediary GF Bennett, currently writes motor business with a panel of 15 insurers. CSC will supply the intermediary with a completely bespoke motor quotation system that will link into Dial Direct's own back-office applications.

Eurobase motor on with system
Eurobase Systems has completed phase one of a motor insurance system for Dutch insurance company Centraal Beheer. The system, which incorporates fleet schemes, uses Synergy, Eurobase's underwriting package. Synergy can be developed on a number platforms including Windows, NT IBM AS/400 and soon IBM Mainframe.

IBM package
IBM this week announced that it is to market and implement the general insurance package Progen 2 from Promark Software. The deal is IBM's first partnership with a property and casualty solutions provider since expiry of its agreement with Australian software company, HUON Corporation.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
