InsurE-com has ousted Misys as the software provider for Arnold Clark Insurance Services (ACIS).

The software house will implement its insur-E.tamCentral and insur-E.quote software for the company.

ACIS has 70 staff, controlling GWP of £15m, mainly motor business.

It is part of the Arnold Clark Organisation, the largest independent automotive company in the UK and Europe, with an annual turnover of £1bn.

Eddie Hawthorne, group managing director of Arnold Clark Autos and ACIS, said: “We chose insurE-com because they were the only software house in the UK that could interface with our current system.”

InsurE-com chief executive Jim McGuiness said: “The solution will provide significant cost savings. ACIS staff will also be able to process business more efficiently and without any unnecessary re-keying of information.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
