Insurance IT specialist insurE-com has announced that two new motor products from Fortis Insurance are now live to insurE-com intermediaries.
The improved access follows the successful completion of a pilot in December 2002, more intermediaries transacting motor business with Fortis Insurance. The new link will enable policy information for Fortis Economy and Fortis Guard to be transmitted via insurE-com's system.
Fortis Insurance sales & marketing director Cathie Bruce said: "We are totally committed to transacting business via EDI and its continued development. Over 95% of our motor business is transacted in this way, allowing us and our customers to benefit from the increased efficiency and speed that EDI trading brings.
