Insurecom has demonstrated its commitment to the environment by becoming a climate neutral company.
The technology provider has offset its greenhouse gas emissions in conjunction with Climate Care.
Insurecom chief executive Phillip Walter said: "Climate change cannot be ignored; we are taking responsibility for the indirect impact our business activities may have on the environment by offsetting our carbon emissions with Climate Care."
Insurecom's offset incorporates both direct and indirect emissions, including electricity consumption, business travel and operational hardware manufacture costs.
The company has also invested in sustainable energy and reforestation projects in places as diverse as Honduras and Uganda.
Walter added: "This is an issue we all need to think about at every level. Staff are encouraged to think environmentally, and in fact this initiative was started by the team here. Thinking environmentally can complement existing business strategy."
