Struggling flooring firm claims increase in insurance work
Carpetright founder and boss Lord Harris of Peckham has said more insurance contracts have helped the company that has seen rival Allied Carpets go out of business, the Times reports.
“We are securing more insurance business each week and have secured contracts to supply a number of housebuilders,” he said.
“All these factors make me cautiously optimistic ahead of our important autumn trading period.”
