A new initiative to retain and develop emerging talent within the UK insurance industry for the long term has been launched this week by Mansion House Executive, the specialist executive search and selection firm.

Backed by leading figures of the insurance and broking industry including Towergate's Amanda Blanc and RBS Insurance's Charles Crawford, the talenthouse programme will be limited to 30 hand-picked members per year. The programme will provide members with access to independent advice and coaching from key industry figures and Mansion House Executive to accelerate and fully develop their insurance careers.

Commenting on the initiative, managing director of Executive, Marcella Cronin said: “talenthouse is not about recruitment; it's about grooming the next generation of senior management for our industry. Our aim is to identify emerging talent within our industry and to provide the platform they need to take control of their long term career development.

“We hear too many stories of good people considering career opportunities outside of the industry where they feel there is more chance to develop and progress. We want to change this perception and focus on keeping talent and moulding industry leaders of the future.”

Mansion House Executive is currently running a research programme to identify potential members who will then be referred to Marcella Cronin for suitability assessment.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
