Improveline has called on property insurers to review their property claims process systems.

The supplier of managed repair services to the building market claims that savings of up to 15% can be achieved alongside improved customer satisfaction levels.

Marshall King, managing director, Improveline said: "We estimate that the industry currently spends around £690 million a year on managing claims on small properties.

"However, we believe that there are a number of ways to make significant savings in this area which are based around speeding up the whole process and improving customer satisfaction levels."
