More than 75 clients attended the inaugural insur-E.office user group meeting, announced UK insurance software provider insurE-com.

The meeting, held in Coventry at the end of November, was held to shape the formation of the user group and give insur-E.office users the opportunity to influence the future development of the software, said insurE-com.

InsurE-com chief executive Jim McGuinness said user feedback would drive the development of insur-E.office.

"Our business model for insur-E.office, where the software is provided free of charge to the intermediary and we earn transaction revenue from insurers, means that we work in true partnership with our intermediaries and share in their success. Consequently, customer service and satisfaction are central to our business ethos."
