Tiscali UK, the internet communications company, has signed a two-year six figure deal with Lloyds TSB Insurance.

Under the deal Lloyds TSB Insurance car, home, travel and pet insurance offerings will be integrated into the Tiscali site as an essential part of the money section of its portal. Launched in July 2001, Tiscali UK is positioned within the UK market as the fourth largest ISP.

Lloyds TSB Insurance senior manager for corporate relationships Nils Kirk said: "I'm over the moon to have the opportunity of working with Tiscali over the next two years. We see this partnership as an excellent chance to combine our knowledge of the online insurance marketplace with that of one of the UK's leading ISPs."

Tiscali expects to see both increased traffic and ecommerce via the deal as online insurance has one of the highest pull throughs on the internet with 25% of UK consumers having browsed the internet for insurance and 10% of consumers having purchased insurance online.

Tiscali UK commercial director Alex Hole enthused: "We are delighted to be working with Lloyds TSB Insurance.
