Investor confidence in the UK insurance market is returning at a higher rate than the rest of the financial services industry. That's according to a Citywire survey.
Insurance was rated as fund managers' fourth-favourite sector among companies listed in the FTSE 350 index.
Highest in the companies list was Brit Insurance, which found itself at number seven in the fund managers' list, while Wellington Underwriting and Amlin also made it into the top 25. Hixcox was ranked at 47th, while Beazley was voted 77th.
Meanwhile industry giants, including Royal & SunAlliance, were rated lower than Lloyd's insurers at 202nd.
