Mondial Assistance has taken over from a group of Lloyd's syndicates as the provider of the ASDA range of travel insurance products.
Dennis Peckham, managing director of Mondial, confirmed that the changeover had gone ahead on March 1.
He said: “In terms of service delivery, nothing will change.”
ASDA currently sells travel insurance, including single trip and annual cover, “off-the-shelf” in its stores. It also offers online purchasing via its website.
