Crawford & Co has confirmed that UK liability technical manager Jeff Stagg would be leaving the company in the "near future".

A Crawford spokesman said: "Jeff Stagg has been offered an opportunity to fulfil a lifetime ambition to live and work in New Zealand.

"Consequently, Jeff will be leaving Crawford, although the precise details are yet to be set for practical reasons."

The spokesman added that Stagg would manage "transitional arrangements" with UK liability operations manager John Buckle.

It is not yet known whether Crawford will replace Stagg.

"At this time, we are considering the management structure for the UK liability division going forward and will reach a decision shortly," the spokesman said.
