The Jelf Group has launched a new insurance solution specifically designed for the dry cleaning industry.
Jelf said the solution, called Enhance, includes cover for damage to goods as part of the dry cleaning process and theft on the premises without forced entry, two of the most significant risks recognised by dry cleaners.
In addition, Jelf said the industry faces major changes in advance of forthcoming environmental legislation regarding solvent emissions.
Murray Simpson, chief executive of the TSA said: “Enhance is a cutting edge solution that addresses [these] legislative changes [that come] into effect in October 2006."
