Jelf has made its eighth purchase in nine months with the acquisition of Reading-based commercial insurance broker, John Wason Insurance Brokers.

As part of the deal, Jelf has taken over the broker's £4.5m insurance book, as well as its 16,000 clients and 14 employees.
