Reynolds replaces Mawson
JLT Group has confirmed Mike Reynolds as group finance director today following his initial appointment in July.
He replaces Simon Mawson who stepped down from the role earlier this year.
Reynolds was previously chief financial officer at ACE European Group after joining the company in 2009 from Aon Corporation, where he was chief financial officer for Aon Benfield.
Reynolds’ appointment was one of several executive changes announced by JLT in the summer. James Twining, previously responsible for group strategy, was appointed to the board as group commercial director on 1 August.
Annette Court and Jonathan Dawson were also appointed as non-executive directors on 1 August. Court was formerly chief executive for European general insurance at Zurich Financial Services and chief executive of RBS Insurance/Direct Line Group.
Dawson had more than 20 years’ investment banking experience at Lazard’s, prior to founding Penfida Partners. He is also a senior independent director at Next and a non-executive director at Standard Life Investment Holdings.
