Jardine Lloyd Thompson has announced the launch of two Rent-a-Captives facilities, Isosceles PCC, a Protected Cell Company, which will be based in Guernsey and Isosceles, a Segregated Account Company, which will be based in Bermuda.

The company said this morning that it was also re-branding the Captive Management Group, to be re-named, JLT Insurance Management.

JLT said it expected that JLT Insurance Management will extend its services into the management of commercial insurance and reinsurance companies.

Nick Wild, executive chairman (ex Americas) of JLT Insurance Management, said: “Ten years after the launch of Protected Cell Company (PCC) legislation in Guernsey, PCC's and Rent-a-Captives are common place amongst the world's captive domiciles. JLT is pleased to now be able to offer these facilities to its clients. The legal structure of these companies offer considerable flexibility and can be used in many different ways to assist our clients.”
