JLT has announced the launch of OneHealth, an integrated solution to reduce the cost of sickness, absence and employee health protection, focused on the SME sector.
OneHealth brings together 4 UK's providers to supply a range of services to reduce both short and long term sickness, from pre-employment screening right through to early retirement.
Managing director Duncan Howorth said: "Our aim is to bring solutions now generally accepted in larger organisations to smaller companies in an affordable way."
He added: "Having spent time listening to the needs of the market we believe OneHealth will bring significant benefits to companies without extensive investment, cost or management time.
"OneHealth can lead to considerable cost savings, and by proactively treating the causes of sickness absence can also improve employee productivity and profitability. It could even help to reduce a company's insurance premiums due to lower risk profiles.
"It brings policies and tools used by larger, better-resourced employers into the reach of smaller enterprises."
The new service includes occupational health, employee assistance and counselling, private medical insurance and income protection.
