Jardine Lloyd Thompson has said that JLT Re began trading on 1st January 2006.
JLT said the previous reinsurance broking capabilities within JLT Risk Solutions have transferred to the new operation, including more than 100 staff.
Alan Griffin who was recently appointed chairman and chief executive of the operation said: “The new company will focus on creating bespoke risk management solutions to address the constantly evolving needs of our industry”.
