Thorpe joins from CMS Cameron McKenna
Lloyd’s insurer Jubilee has appointed Jonathan Thorpe as head of claims following a strategic review of its managing agency’s claims function.
Thorpe joins from CMS Cameron McKenna where he was a partner in their specialist insurance and reinsurance group for the last three years.
Jubilee chief executive Johnny Rowell said: “Delivering a world-class claims offering is a significant part of Jubilee’s overall strategy. Jonathan will play a leading role in further developing our proposition and his senior appointment is clear evidence of our commitment to claims excellence.”
Thorpe said: ”This is an exciting period for the managing agency business and I look forward to being part of a team which delivers a great claims management service and experience.”
Since October 2011 he has been filling Jubilee’s head of claims role on an interim basis.
