Stephen Kingsley has joined City law firm Hextalls as head of commercial property development.

Kingsley joins the long-established City law firm - whose principal areas of work are insurance and general commercial dispute resolution - at its London branch. He was previously employed at Druces & Attlee, where he specialised in commercial property matters.

Kingsley said: "Hextalls has made visible and significant commitments to the commercial property arena. My arrival to lead the team reinforces the view that Hextalls has significantly invested in this specialist area to ensure that the level of client support is greatly enhanced.

"I have joined at a very exciting time in [Hextalls'] development and I am looking forward to working with the partners to achieve all our collective ambitions."

Kingsley's arrival is the latest in a string of major structural changes that have taken place at Hextalls in the last 12 months. There has been a development in its commercial property department, the acquisition of the TMT team, the arrival of three commercial dispute resolution partners, the establishment of a commercial litigation department and the opening of an office in New York.
