Lloyd's has teamed up with five technology specialists to help deliver its online commercial lines platform, Kinnect.
The five firms - CGI, HP, LogicaCMG, ROOM Solutions and SAIC - will analyse business processes and produce solutions to connect trading partners.
The deal comes several months after it signed up the London operations of Marsh, Willis, Ace European Group, Amlin, Beazley and Wellington.
Phil Bungey, chief technology officer of Kinnect, said the deal will help Kinnect "meet our customers' needs".
CGI is a US technology services giant, while HP provides global solutions and services to consumers and businesses.
LogicaCMG provides management and IT consultancy, and Room Solutions is a London market specialist technology firm. SAIC provides systems integration and e-solutions to large commercial and governmental customers.
