Lancashire is set to incorporate a subsidiary in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Richard Brindle, Lancashire chief executive, said that while the move relfected the company's commitment to its brand, he did not see it impacting on current forecasts. Although he added: "In the longer term having a presence in the Middle East will allow the Lancashire Group to grow a solid book of business that will complement our existing
underwriting."
