Worries over healthcare provision could boost private medical cover sales, according to the latest research by Legal & General.
While only 12% of the population has private medical insurance, 34% surveyed by Legal & General said they would be quite or very likeley to consider private schemes.
Over 60% said that they would pay higher taxes in order to increase NHS funding, said the survey.
