Broking group Lark has bought Kent-based marine broker and underwriting agency Euromarine Insurance Services for an undisclosed sum.
Following the deal, Lark will have annual revenues of over £28.5 million and employ 350 staff in eight offices across London, the South East and East Anglia.
All of the Euromarine team will join Lark and will continue to operate from the company’s Broadstairs office as before.
Lark managing director Stephen Lark (pictured) said: “We are delighted to add Euromarine to our existing operations. It is a top quality broking business and an ideal fit with our strategic objective to be one of the UK’s leading independent brokers.”
He added: “The acquisition will considerably strengthen our position in the marine sector. We’ll be working with the Euromarine team to support their growth through organic new business efforts.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
