Lawsure Direct, together with a panel of specialist dispute resolution solicitors' and barristers' chambers, has launched the Dispute Assessment and Risk Evaluation Service (DARE).
It said DARE was a new fixed cost risk evaluation service for business disputes and was available both to those pursuing disputes and those being pursued.
It said DARE had two stages, each of which has a fixed fee and a total cost of £4,250 plus VAT. Lawsure Direct said this would allow a client to retain control of the legal spend throughout the entire process and avoid spending large sums in legal costs before knowing if there was a case to fight.
Once both stages have been completed, a client would be advised as to the most cost effective and quickest way of resolving the dispute.
Solicitor member of the DARE panel Tony Guise said: "For the first time directors of SMEs and larger companies can have speedy access to high quality focused legal advice on commercial cases for a fixed fee."
