Lloyd's broker Sterling Hamilton Wright and Northern Underwriters Ltd (NUL) have joined forces to secure an additional £8m of capacity for 2003.
The capacity increase will be targeted at liability facilities to small and medium sized insurance intermediaries.
The new policy Max5 is a combined liability product for small businesses covering upto five manual workers.
Divisional director of Sterling Hamilton Wright Stephen Duffy said: "I am delighted that at last we are able to make a positive statement about the liability market."
