Limit Syndicate is to revert back to SJ Gargrave Syndicate 2724 from 1 January 2004. It will drop the old Janson Green brand name.
The syndicate also promoted Phillip Sandle to marine liability underwriter from the position of deputy marine liability underwriter. Sandle has been with the syndicate since 1997.
Commenting on Sandle's promotion, the syndicate's active underwriter Stephen Gargrave said: "On a day-to-day level, this will make very little difference to the operations at the box and I will continue to be involved in the underwriting and carry on working closely with Sandle as before."
