Lloyd's has appointed agents in Iraq, following the lifting of UN sanctions.
Inchcape Shipping Services will look after the southern part of the country, south of latitude 32 degrees north from its office in Umm Qasr.
The north of the country will be the responsibility of Spinney's 1948 Ltd, which is the existing Lloyd's agent for Amman, where it will continue to be contactable until it establishes formal offices in Baghdad.
