Court ruling on money laundering charge may cut claims cost
Lloyd’s insurers go to court in the US today to prove alleged fraudster Allen Stanford and his three associates Laura Pendergest-Holt, Gilbert Lopez and Mark Kuhrt are guilty of money laundering. If the insurers win so they can recoup $100m (£64m) in D&O payouts, City AM reports.
