Lloyds TSB Group has appointed Philip Loney as its new managing director at Lloyds TSB Insurance. The new appointment will take effect from 1 September 2003.
Loney, 38, returns to Lloyds TSB having started his career with Lloyds Bank and held various positions including director of Lloyds Bank Insurance Direct.
He succeeds Jon Pain who recently took up the position of managing director, Cheltenham and Gloucester - Lloyds TSB's mortgage business.
Lloyds TSB Insurance is the UK's largest distributor of personal lines insurance and has 9.5 million policies in force.
