Insurance standards body Acord has opened a London office following its takeover of the joint venture and RINET business, formerly managed by Wise.
The office in the London Underwriting Centre, which is also home to the International Underwriting Association, gives Acord a link to the London insurance market.
Ex-Wise employee Phil Brown, who is standards manager for Acord, will manage the office. Acord plans to open an office in Brussels before the end of the year.
