Seven London Market technology companies have formed a group to work on improving efficiency using document repositories.

The Repository Infrastructure Group (RIG) comprises Xchanging Ins-sure Services, Rebus iS, August Group, Intech Solutions, Melstar Information Technologies, Randall Lyons and Tower Technology.

The RIG said its aim is to deliver a common repository infrastructure which will accelerate the take-up of the use of repositories on a global scale.

The group said it believes that unless repositories work together their full potential will not be unleashed.

Components of the flexible repository infrastructure are likely to include: portals, single logon, multiple-repository indexing and searches, up/download from one application to another, access control lists and a global directory.

The first system interfaces are targeted for delivery in the first quarter of 2003.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
