Markerstudy Insurance Company has appointed Rodney Wellard as general manager.
With 40 years in the industry, much of it in underwriting roles in the Lloyd's market, Wellard brings motor sector experience, according to the company.
Wellard said: "I'm delighted to be joining a company that, month by month, is making such huge strides. My job is simply to make those strides bigger."
