Marsh's 'Charity of the Year' programme has raised £250,000...
Marsh has raised £250,000 for the homelessness and housing charity Shelter as part of its 'Charity of the Year' programme.
The money raised will be used to help fund Shelter's work with homeless and badly housed people in Britain.
Marsh colleagues select its Charity of the Year on an eighteen-month basis by submitting applications to the corporate responsibility team.
The national events organised by Marsh to support Shelter over the past 18 months have included a 40-mile trek in the Lake District, where 500 colleagues raised over £21,000, and the Marsh Midsummer Ball held in Putney which raised over £40,000.
