The Folgate Partnership has acquired Masterplan, the product distribution arm of Sirius Financial Systems, and its business-to-business e-commerce facility Risks4U.co.uk.
Working with Towergate Underwriting Group, Masterplan will be the cornerstone of the Folgate's drive into broker distribution.
Sales and Marketing Director at Folgate Tony Proverbs said: "Masterplan's 370 members control some £1 billion of gross premium - a powerful force within our industry. It is our intention to create a full broker support environment for members that will be backed by the wide product range available through Towergate."
The Folgate Partnership will be launched formally on 11 March 2002 at the Natural History Museum.
