The new business-to-business portal will enable intermediaries to obtain comparative quotes for private medical insurance.
Claire Ginnelly, Standard Life Healthcare national sales manager said: "With more intermediaries looking to engage in facilitating cash plan sales, a comparative system will assist in improving the ease in which intermediaries can write this type of insurance.
Ginnelly added: "With the launch of a comparative system, this issue is reduced significantly, and should result in more intermediaries looking to advise and support clients requirements in this area of insurance."
Other providers are planned for the near future. Mark Kimberling, business development director at MediQuote said: "Comparing competitors products on a like for like basis will enable intermediaries to look towards Cash Plans more favourably as an alternative product line to assist clients with."
