Misys has signed a deal to give Countrywide members access to Benfield Premium Finance services.
Access to Benfield is usually limited to personal lines brokers controlling a minimum of £5m GWP. Misys said the new deal would enable virtually all Countrywide members to use Benfield's premium finance offer by reducing the requirement to £1m GWP.
Misys said it had developed integration with Benfield systems to provide fully electronic solutions.
Misyshead of insurance services John Dawson said: "As virtually all of our 900 members trade general insurance products via full cycle EDI we expect large numbers will make the most of this opportunity."
Benfield said the deal would give it single access to a large number of brokers controlling more than £2.7bn in premiums.
